Do I need to use justgiving, since the charity receiving the donations is located in the UK? Can I make a page on both sites so that both the UK and the US based donors can receive the gift aid?

Hello-
Although JustGiving and FirstGiving do they same thing, we are 2 separate sites and only UK charities are listed with them and US nonprofits with us.
So if the organization you want to support is in the UK, it will be listed with them only. If it is US based, it will be listed on our site.
Please note all donations made through JustGiving are in pounds and all donations to FirstGiving are made in US dollars. Only UK taxpayers can claim gift aid on JustGiving's site.
If it is an international organization, they maybe listed on both and in that case you could start a page on each site.
Thank you! Will the site keep a running total for the entire length of the fundraiser, or will it reset to zero each time a deposit is made?
FirstGiving pages stay open for 3 months after your event start date, and never zero out. We just send the money without any disturbance to your page. Not sure how long JustGiving pages stay active, so you may want to check out their Help to find that out (if you need to) http://www.justgiving.com/about-us/contact-us
Happy Fundraising!
