FirstGiving is transparent with all fees associated with our service. Here are details:

• Each donation made to a fundraising page is charged a total fee of 7.5 percent. Donors can also choose to cover the fees for their donations. Learn more.
• When a person makes a general donation to a nonprofit page, we charge a total fee of 4.25 percent.
• For event registration, there's a total fee of 4.25 percent. If registration is free, there's no cost to the nonprofit.
• If you choose the premium service, there's a $500 annual fee.
